The tradition of First Friday Network brings together professionals who are focused on promoting advocacy for the senior citizens of our community through sound business practices. We meet monthly, except in January and July, in an informal setting to exchange ideas that will benefit the seniors we serve. Our members include professionals specializing in: Elder Law, Health Insurance, Financial Consultants, Long Term Care Facilities, Retirement Communities, Assisted Living Communities, Private Duty-Non Medical Care, Private Pay Personal Assistance and Home Health Agencies, Durable Medical Equipment Providers, Personal Care Home Owners, Medicare Approved Home Care and Hospice Providers.
First Friday Network members have an opportunity to visit the hosting facilities or businesses that so generously provide information about their services and a tour of their facility. The monthly meeting includes a time for all in attendance to briefly introduce themselves. Members are encouraged to inform the group about events and provide handouts. In addition, many members bring door prizes. Members may also sign up once a year for a two-minute topic presentation, providing more information about their business or event. Time is allocated for informal networking before and after the meeting.
